NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University men's tennis team was defeated by Florida Gulf Coast University by a 4-3 score, Friday afternoon from the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was too much for the Bisons in doubles play, as the Eagles took the top two flights to get out to a 1-0 lead.
In singles, FGCU clinched with wins on flights 1, 5 and 6, with Hugo Magnusson's 6-2, 7-5 score over
Oskar Szymczak on court one.
Despite the match being clinched, the Bisons showed resilience, winning the final three points that all went to a 10-point tiebreak.
On court four,
Facundo Perlov (19-10) used a 10-3 tiebreak score to take the victory.
Juan Lombisano (16-7) held off Guglielmo Stefanacci in the final frame with a 10-7 result.
Giovanni Ciocca (14-11) rallied from an opening set loss to take down Jonathan Baron 4-6, 7-6 (3), 10-8.
