JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference has announced that senior setter
Sophia Hudepohl has been chosen as the Volleyball Setter of the Week on Monday.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native led the ASUN with 9.9 assists per set in 10 sets played that saw the Bisons go 2-1 on the week, earning victories over Tennessee State and Cal State Northridge.
On a national level, she finished 67th in the nation in assists per set and 84th in total assists over the course of last week.
Over 42% of her assists led to kills for the Bisons, who averaged 12.5 per set.
Against CSUN on Saturday, she recorded her second 50-assist performance of the season with 52, which was the most for an ASUN school last week.
To go with her 99 assists, she added 12 digs, six blocks and one ace.
So far in 2025, Hudepohl leads the league and is 31st in the nation in assists per set (10.07) and 88th in total assists (272).
The Bisons, currently 3-5 on the year, will return home with matches against UC Irvine on Thursday and Belmont on Friday. Both contests will have a 6 p.m. first serve in Allen Arena.
