NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Women's Tennis team started the spring portion of the 2025-26 schedule with a 7-0 shutout of Tennessee State, Friday evening from the Ensworth Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Mariia Dolzhenko and
Kameliia Tytarenko (3-2) clinched the doubles point for the Bisons with a 6-4 result on court two as the home squad secured each flight.
The sweeps kept going for the Bisons in singles. Dolzhenko (10-3) swept Julie Tungamarail on court two, 6-0, 6-0.
Sofiia Zhylchuk (5-1) also had a 6-0, 6-0 win at the sixth flight.
Serafima Bobrovnikova (3-1) clinched the match for the Bisons with her 6-1, 6-1 score on court five.
Sofiia Paladi (6-5),
Deborah Dominguez Collado (7-2) and
Martina Bovio (8-6) also all picked up straight-set wins.
UP NEXT
Lipscomb will next hit the courts on Sunday, Jan. 25 against UAB for a 10:30 a.m. first serve from the Ensworth Tennis Center.
