Women's Tennis Collects 15 Wins at Belmont/Lipscomb Hidden Dual

NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Women's Tennis team picked up 15 wins between singles and doubles at the Belmont/Lipscomb Hidden Dual over the weekend between the Beaman Family Tennis Complex and the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

Doubles play saw the Bisons earn five wins. Deborah Dominguez Collado and Mariia Dolzhenko won their matches over Belmont, 6-2, and North Alabama, 6-1.

Serafima Bobrovnikova and Sarah Stoyanov also won twice over the weekend, defeating the Bruins and Lions by identical 7-5 scores.

In singles, Dolzhenko, Dominguez Collado, Stoyanov and Bobrovnikova all won twice. Against UNA, Dominguez Collado rallied from a first-set loss thanks to a 12-10 tiebreak victory. Sunday against Belmont, she picked up a second straight 12-10 break score in the third set to finish undefeated.

Bobrovnikova also won her matches in 10-point breaks. After a 12-10 win over the Lions on Saturday, she used a 13-11 break to defeat Belmont.

Stoyanov used a 10-4 tiebreak win after back-to-back 7-5 scores to defeat UNA. Against MTSU, she defeated Sadbaroy Kholdarova, 6-0, 6-2

Dolzhenko also picked up straight-set dubs against Emma Ansorage and Emmi Kolyszko of North Alabama and Belmont, respectively.
