NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Lipscomb Women's Soccer's Katie Brightwell has been named the ASUN Player of the Week following a standout offensive weekend for the Bisons, the conference announced Monday.
Brightwell played a key role in Lipscomb's two conference matches, finishing the week with two goals and one assist.
The sophomore delivered a two-goal performance Thursday against FGCU, finding the back of the net twice to lead the Bisons' attack. Brightwell followed that performance with another contribution Sunday against Stetson, recording an assist to cap a five-point week.
Across the two matches, Brightwell was directly involved in three Lipscomb goals, totaling five points with her two goals and one assist.
The weekly honor recognizes Brightwell's impact during a crucial stretch of ASUN play as the Bisons continue their push through the conference schedule.
