NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Women's Tennis team got back in the win column on Saturday, ending a three-match losing skid with a 6-1 win over Illinois State University from the Huston-Marsh Griffith Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lipscomb got on the board quickly with the doubles point with identical 6-2 scores at the top two flights.
Deborah Dominguez Collado and
Martina Bovio took the team point on court two with a 6-2 result over Nicole Ioio and Nuria Sanz.
In singles,
Serafima Bobrovnikova (7-3) picked a 6-1, 7-5 win over Sanz to give the Bisons the 2-0 lead.
After
Mariia Dolzhenko (13-6) won 7-6 (5), 6-1 on court two,
Sofiia Zhylchuk (7-5) clinched the match for the home squad, taking down Emma Lindh, 6-4, 6-4, on court six.
Sofiia Paladi (10-7) and Dominguez Collado (10-5) also picked up wins after the team clinched the match. Paladi took down Lana Caculovic in three sets at the top flight, while Dominguez Collado won a 10-point third set break at the third flight.
