JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lipscomb University senior
Sofiia Paladi was selected as the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the first time in the 2025-26 season and the fifth of her career.
In the Lipscomb's 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Middle Tennessee State, her and
Deborah Dominguez Collado secured the doubles team point with a 6-3 victory at the No. 1 position over Zora Koenig and Sara Conde.
In singles, she secured a 6-4, 6-1 win against Lena Peyer at the top flight as the Bisons went on to defeat the Blue Raiders.
Entering play this week, Paladi is 7-5 in singles and 14-4 in doubles this season. Combining singles and doubles during her playing career with Lipscomb, she is 128-72.
The Bisons will next head to Western Kentucky on Friday afternoon.
