BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Lipscomb University Women's Tennis team wrapped up the weekend with a 5-2 victory over Samford University on Sunday morning from the Samford Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In doubles,
Sofiia Paladi and
Deborah Dominguez Collado earned their 10th win of the season and moved to 4-2 in spring play with a 6-1 rout on court two.
Lipscomb clinched the team point with a 6-3 victory at the top flight by
Serafima Bobrovnikova and
Mariia Dolzhenko (3-1). The duo finished the weekend with two straight victories after a shuffle in the doubles lineup moved them to the No. 1 spot.
The Bisons won four of six in singles play. After picking up her 100th win between singles and doubles on Saturday, Dolzhenko (14-6) moved up to 5-3 in spring competition with a 6-0, 7-5 victory on court two.
Paladi (11-7) secured the 7-5, 6-2 result at the top flight, while Dominguez Collado (11-5) added a 6-3, 7-5 dub on court three.
Sofiia Zhylchuk (8-5) was the fourth Bison to win in singles, capturing a 6-3, 6-3 score over Hailey Troup.
