JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sophomore Serafima Bobrovnikova from Lipscomb University was honored as the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Wednesday. 

From the week of March 2-8, Bobrovnikova went 3-0 last week between singles and doubles against Arkansas State and Florida Gulf Coast. 

Against the Red Wolves, she, along with Mariia Dolzhenko, clinched the team point for the Bisons in doubles with a 7-6 (7) win that saw them rally from a 5-2 deficit at the top flight. 

Adding a singles win against Arkansas State, she also posted a 6-1, 6-1 result on court four against FGCU's Sabrina Jaramillo to help the Bisons defeat the Eagles, 4-1, last Saturday, March 7. 

Spending spring break in Jacksonville, Florida, the Bisons will return to the courts on Friday for a neutral-site contest against Appalachian State.
