NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Women's Tennis team was dominant over Belmont University on Sunday afternoon, as the Bisons defeated the Bruins for the 13th straight time with a 7-0 shutout from the Ensworth Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lipscomb cruised to the doubles team point with victories on courts two and three.
Deborah Dominguez Collado and
Sofiia Paladi (13-3) earned their fourth straight doubles win with a 6-1 rout on court two.
Clinching the team point was
Martina Bovio and
Kameliia Tytarenko. The duo (4-3) also defeated their opponents in Ketevan Jeladze and Libbie Hamilton, 6-1.
It was a clean sweep for the Bisons in singles, and it was a clean sweep for Paladi (12-10), who shut out Savannah Webster, 6-0, 6-0 at the top flight.
Mariia Dolzhneko (17-8) improved to 8-5 on the spring campaign with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 dub at the No. 2 flight.
Bovio (10-15) clinched the match for the Bisons with a 6-1, 6-2 victory on court five.
Sofiia Zhylchuk (12-6), Dominguez Collado (13-8) and
Serafima Bobrovnikova (11-5) also earned wins to complete the shutout.
With Sunday's win, the Bisons improve to 13-7 against the Bruins in the series since 2006. The Bisons have won the last 13, dating back to the 2014 season.
