NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Women's Tennis team secured a 10-win season for a third straight year by knocking off UAB in a midweek matinee, 4-0, on Wednesday from the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Deborah Dominguez Collado and
Sofiia Paladi (16-3) improved to 10-2 in spring matches and extended a seven-match win streak with their 6-2 win at the second flight to clinch the doubles point.
Kamellia Tytarenko and
Martina Bovio (5-4) also earned a dub in doubles with a 6-3 result at the No. 3 spot.
The Bisons cruised to a singles clinch, with all three victories coming in straight sets. Paladi (14-11) got back in the win column with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Kristyna Damaskova at the top flight to get out to 2-0 team lead.
However, it was the fifth and sixth spots in the singles lineup. Bovio (12-15) earned her third straight victory with a 6-4, 6-3 result over Julia Caffarena.
On court six,
Sofiia Zhylchuk (13-6) earned her fifth straight victory and clinched the match for the Bisons, taking down Antonia Ende, 6-1, 6-4.
Lipscomb picked up its fourth win in a row on Wednesday.
