NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Volleyball program has finalized its coaching staff for the 2026 season, as Carly Graham will join the Bisons staff as an assistant coach.
A former collegiate All-American setter, Graham has played professionally in Major League Volleyball and Athletes Unlimited.
"Carly Graham brings All-American credentials, professional experience, and has an exceptional handle on the game as a coach at the D-I level. I am excited for her to help develop our players as we continue to work, not only to continue the winning tradition of Lipscomb Volleyball but to raise the standard," said head coach
Sarah Baldwin. "We are building something special here."
She is currently in her fourth season of professional volleyball, including on the 2026 San Diego Mojo roster.
After beginning her professional career with the Galeb Liko Soho Group in Montenegro during the 2023 season, she signed a deal with the Orlando Valkyries in 2024 and the Vegas Thrill in 2025.
She also participated in Athletes Unlimited's Pro Volleyball Championship in the fall of 2025.
Prior to her professional career, she served as an assistant coach at Texas State University from 2023-24, primarily working with setters and offensive systems for the Bobcats. During her second season, she was part of the progression that led to Ryann Torres being named the Sun Belt Setter of the Year.
In her two seasons, she was a part of two NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2024 Sun Belt Tournament Championship.
A two-time All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association and a three-time Conference USA Setter of the Year honoree, Graham played all five seasons at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Her 510 sets played are second-most in Rice's Volleyball history, and her 4,296 assists are third all-time when she graduated from the program. During her junior year, she participated with the U.S. Collegiate National Team.
"I am so incredibly excited to be joining the Lipscomb Volleyball family. I am so grateful to Sarah [Baldwin] for the opportunity, and cannot wait to get to work with her and Lauren [Deaton]," said Graham.
"During this process, it was really apparent how special of a place and the people are here. There is such a strong sense of community and culture that transcends across the volleyball program, the athletic department and all throughout campus. I am super excited to be a Bison and get started!"
A native of Spring, Texas, Graham graduated from Rice University in December 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts.
Along with the return of
Lauren Deaton for her second season with LUV, the addition of Graham will round out the coaching staff for first-year leader
Sarah Baldwin.
