NASHVILLE, TN – Lipscomb Softball dropped the final game of its ASUN series against EKU on Sunday afternoon, falling 8–0 in six innings.
EKU struck early with a run in the first inning before adding another in the third to take a 2–0 lead.
The Colonels broke the game open in the third inning, extending their lead to 7–0.
EKU added one more in the sixth inning to secure the run-rule victory.
Lipscomb was unable to generate offense in the contest as EKU held the Bisons scoreless to complete the series win.

The Bisons return to ASUN play next weekend as they travel to face North Alabama on April 3. The series begins with a doubleheader on Saturday, with first pitch set for 1:00 p.m.
