Coach Carroll on Truman:
"We're excited to welcome Truman Byrne to Lipscomb. Having recruited and known Truman for two years—even before he arrived in the US—I know firsthand how well he fits our program. He's the ideal forward for our system: versatile on both ends, with outstanding shooting, passing and decision-making skills. Just as importantly, Truman exemplifies the values and work ethic that define Lipscomb basketball. We're confident he'll be a tremendous addition to our team and culture."
Hugo Tidare - 6'6 / G / FR / Uppsala, Sweden / KFUM Uppsala
Tidare is joining the Lipscomb University Men's Basketball team as a freshman. Most recently, Tidare played for KFUM Uppsala in Sweden's top professional league, Swedish Basketligan.
During the 25-26 season, Tidare averaged 7.0 points per game (PPG), 1.6 rebounds per game (RPG), and shot 44% from three-point range. He also represented Sweden in the FIBA U20 and FIBA U18 Eurobasket Championships in 2025 and 2024, respectively. In the 2025 FIBA U18 Championships, he averaged 8.6 PPG and 1.6 RPG while shooting 38% from three-point range.
Coach Carroll on Hugo:
"Adding a player like Hugo, with his international experience, is a tremendous step for our program. He's a high-level shooter with impressive length, instincts, and defensive versatility—qualities that make him a perfect fit for our style of play. Having competed at the highest level of professional basketball in Sweden and in FIBA, he's well-prepared for the challenges of the ASUN conference. Beyond his talent on the court, he's a tremendous teammate and someone the entire Lipscomb community will embrace."
Vuk Visnijic / 6'3 G / FR / Belgrade, Serbia / Borac Zemun
Visnijic also joins the Men's Basketball program as a freshman. Most recently, Visnijic played for Borac Zemun in Serbia's top professional league, the KLS. He earned recognition as a 2025 All-Serbian 2MLS Honorable Mention and was named 2MLS Player of the Week by Eurobasket.com. Additionally, he was named to the 2024 All-Serbian Junior League Second Team by Eurobasket.com.
Coach Carroll on Vuk:
"Vuk is widely regarded as one of the top young guards in Serbia, and his experience competing in Serbia's top professional leagues over the past few years has prepared him to make an immediate impact at our level. He's a natural point guard whose size gives him the versatility to play off the ball as well. Vuk's strengths as a playmaker and his ability to create for both himself and his teammates set him apart. Like our other recent signees, he is an exceptional student and a person of high character who will enhance our team's culture both on and off the court."
The newcomers will bolster the squads' seven returners, which include four starters or key reserves from the 2025-26 season.
