Bisons Sit Fourth After Day One of Florida Atlantic Invitational

JUPITER, Fla. – Lipscomb Men's Golf opened play at the Florida Atlantic Invitational on Monday with a strong first day at The Bears Club, finishing the opening two rounds in fourth place at 10-under par heading into Tuesday's final round.
The Bisons were led by Toby Bishop, who sits tied for 13th individually after two rounds. Bishop opened the tournament with a 68 before carding a 72 in the second round to finish the day at 4-under.
Grant Tabar and Angelo Martinez both ended the day tied for 17th at 3-under. Tabar followed an opening-round 72with a 3-under 69, while Martinez bounced back from a first-round 74 with a strong 5-under 67 in the afternoon.
Andrew Sciortino sits tied for 30th at even par after posting back-to-back rounds of 72.
Rounding out the Lipscomb lineup, Ciaran Murphy finished the opening day tied for 68th. Murphy recorded rounds of 74 and 76 to sit at 6-over heading into the final round.
Competing as an individual, Alexander Moeldrup carded rounds of 79 and 77 on Monday.
Lipscomb will return to The Bears Club on Tuesday for the third and final round of the two-day Florida Atlantic Invitational, looking to build on its fourth-place position at 10-under.
