2014-15 (Redshirt-Sophomore): Redshirted due to injury…Atlantic Sun Conference Scholar.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Saw action in 30 games including four starts…Averaged 2.2 points and 1.0 rebound per game…Averaged 13.3 minutes per contest…Posted a career high 13-point effort at Jacksonville (1/6/14).
2012-13 (Freshman): Saw the floor in 23 contests including nine starts…Averaged 13.3 minutes per contest…Led team in assist-to-turnover margin 1.35…Scored a season high 11 points at USC Upstate (1/31/12).
High School: Prepped at Patterson Mill High School under coach Jeroud Clark…three-year captain for the Huskies…averaged 14 points, 7 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 2.8 steals as PMHS posted a 23-4 mark during his senior season including a perfect mark at home…set school records for assists, steals and games played at PMHS…named all-district as a senior…also starred for the Huskies in football where he set the school record for most interceptions in a season.
Personal: Son of Sandra Gray and Jeffery Butler, who both played college basketball…has one brother (Bryce) and one sister (Kristen)…chose Lipscomb because it is a great place to grow academically, athletically and socially…recruited by Yale, Lafayette, Colgate and Binghamton.
