Kate Mason is entering her third season as an assistant coach with the Lipscomb University women's soccer team. She joined the Bisons coaching staff in July 2020 and works primarily with the program’s goalkeepers.
Last season, she helped guide the squad to their third ASUN Tournament Championship win, their fourth ASUN Regular Season champions title with a 15-5-1 record, and their third NCAA Tournament Appearance.
Kate is no stranger to the women’s soccer program at Lipscomb. Not only did Kate help the team to new heights, but she also was highly decorated personally earning USC All-South Region Second Team (2018), Top Drawer Soccer NCAA National Team of the Week Honorable Mention (November 13, 2018), ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year (2018), ASUN First Team All-Conference (2018), and ASUN Winner for Life (Fall 2017).
Kate also spent a season playing professionally in Sweden for Telge United FF in 2019. During her time there she collected nearly 1,200 minutes of playing time, 6 shutouts, and 2 Player of the Match awards.
