Zoë Perrin joined the Lipscomb Sports Medicine staff in June 2024 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer through Elite Sports Medicine, working primarily with the Bisons' Women's Soccer and Women's Tennis Programs.
In her role, Perrin collaborates with team physicians on injury diagnosis, treatment and return-to-play protocols while coordinating medical appointments and providing day-to-day care for Lipscomb student-athletes.
Prior to joining Lipscomb, Perrin gained athletic training experience at Samford University, Baylor High School, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Andrews Sports Medicine, Birmingham Legion FC, Boyd Buchanan School and Heritage High School. Throughout those experiences, she worked across numerous sports and gained expertise in injury evaluation and treatment, rehabilitation programming, return-to-play testing, injury prevention and sports science.
Perrin earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2024, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. While at Chattanooga, she also served as a graduate assistant and completed research examining the association between perceptual-response training and injury incidence among secondary school athletes.
A former NCAA Division I student-athlete, Perrin played soccer at Samford University from 2018-21 as a midfielder and forward. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Samford in 2021, graduating with a 3.87 GPA. During her time at Samford, Perrin served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Community Service Committee and was a leader with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Perrin is American Heart Association BLS CPR/AED certified and holds a Structure and Function Dry Needling 1 certification.
Originally from Madisonville, Louisiana, Perrin attended St. Scholastica Academy. She is the daughter of Larry and Christie Perrin and has four siblings, Larry, Reid, Macie and Carlie. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, spending time with friends and exploring Nashville.
