NASHVILLE – Lipscomb volleyball put away its fifth-straight win Sunday afternoon, defeating Eastern Kentucky 3-1 (25-23, 25-18, 18-25, 25-13) inside Allen Arena. The Bisons improved to 8-8 overall and 5-1 in ASUN Conference play to sit atop the Western Division standings with Jacksonville State. The Colonels dropped to 6-5 and 3-4.

Four Bisons finished with double-digit kills, led by Meg Mersman's 13 as the sophomore middle hit .385 and added four blocks. Freshman Addi Pelham hit a match-high .455 with 12 kills and only two errors on 22 swings. She matched Mersman with a team-high four blocks as well.

Freshman Anna Aubele and senior Logan Gish hit .400 and .308, respectively, as each recorded 11 kills.

Sophomore setter Delaney Dilfer tallied her team-leading third double-double on 52 assists and 10 digs to go along with five kills and a pair of aces. She orchestrated an offense that put eight Bisons in double-digits kills for the weekend against Bellarmine and EKU.

Gish was solid from the service line, matching her season high four aces, as Delaney Smith added three.
