THE SHORT STORY: Explosive Colorado State offense proved too much for the Bisons as the squad fell to 1-3 on the season with an 81-55 loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Colorado State took an early 2-0 lead with the first bucket of the game. The Bisons stayed in striking distance through the first quarter, finishing the first 10 minutes behind 16-10.
Sydney Shelton opened the second quarter with a triple to shave the Rams' lead 16-13.
Colorado State caught fire and went on a 16-0 run to jump out to a 29-13 lead. Casey Collier stopped the bleeding with back-to-back baskets to make things 29-17.
The Rams went on another 9-0 run and pulled away at the end of the second half for a 42-23 lead at the break.
Colorado State continued to dictate the game in the second half and eventually closed out an 81-55 victory.
