Lipscomb jumped out to a hot start in the second quarter, going on a 5-0 to get within a possession.

The Bisons continued to click on the offensive end, with five quick points, pulling back within three.
MTSU extended its lead to two posessions when it made a last-second layup to end the first half with a five-point advantage.
