THE SHORT STORY: Lipscomb Men's Soccer extended its unbeaten streak to six matches after playing to a 1-1- overtime draw against Belmont Tuesday night. 

QUICK FACTS:

• Belmont took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick goal in the 38' minute. 
• Lipscomb found the equalizer in the 61' minute when Bakary Bagayoko netted his first goal of the season.
• Lipscomb thought it scored the game winner with 0:01 on the clock, but the goal was deemed to be after the clock expired.  

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• Belmont got on the board first when a Bruin was taken down at the corner of the box. Niccolo Dagnoni stepped up to the spot and converted for a 1-0 lead. 
• After Lipscomb earned a corner kick, Bagayoko waited patiently in the box and buried a ball to the upper right corner to get Lipscomb back in the game. 
• Lipscomb had the better chances late in the match but were unable to net the winner in regulation, so the match would head to overtime.
• After a scoreless first overtime period, Lipscomb created a chance as time was expiring when Carlo Cavalar flicked a header towards the back post. Louis Robinson was there to head the ball across the goal line, but the goal was deemed to be after time expired and the match ended in a draw.  

NOTABLE:  

• The Bisons outshot Belmont 28-9 and landed seven on frame. 
• Lipscomb manufactured several offensive chances with 13 corner kicks on the night. 
• Michael Sibley made four saves on the night.
