THE SHORT STORY: Lipscomb stayed undefeated on the season behind a brace from
Killian Byrne to seal a 2-1 victory over Memphis.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the 23' minute,
Hayes Wood nearly netted the opening goal of the match with a rocket on the end of a set piece that forced a Memphis save.
The Bisons continued to pressure the Tigers' goal with shots from
Louis Robinson in the 26' minute and a shot from
Noah Gulden in the 41' minute.
The Bisons finally broke through in the 44' minute when Byrne volleyed a pass from
Hayes Wood inside the far post for a 1-0 lead.
Memphis started to gain more possession in the second half, but keeper
Michael Sibley was up to the task with a big save in the 59' minute to keep the Bisons in the lead.
Byrne notched his second of the match in the 78' minute when he slotted a right-footed shot past the keeper for a 2-0 lead.
Memphis put pressure on the Bisons with an 84' minute goal off a set piece.
The Bisons were able to defend for the final minute of the match to preserve its third-consecutive win.
