Men's Soccer Sweeps ASUN Superlatives, Lands 11 on All-Conference Teams

NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Men's Soccer swept the postseason All-Conference superlative awards and landed 11 on All-Conference teams the league announced Friday. 
 
Jelldrik Dallman was named Player of the Year, Noah Gulden was named Defensive Player of the Year and Scholar Athlete of the Year, Michael Sibley was named Goalkeeper of the Year, Nick Dang was named Freshman of the Year and Charles Morrow rounded out the superlatives with Coach of the Year honors for the third time in his career. 
 
The Bisons had six selections to the ASUN First Team All-Conference, including Sibley, Noah Gulden, Alejandro Lopez, Dallmann, Malachi Jones and Hayes Wood. Tyrese Spicer also earned a spot on the ASUN Second Team All-Conference. 
 
Dang and Jones were also on the ASUN All-Freshmen Team while Noah Gulden, Scott Gulden and Louis Robinson rounded things out with spots on the ASUN All-Academic Team. 
 
NOAH GULDEN – DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR, SCHOLAR ATHLETE OF THE YEAR, ASUN FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE. 
 
Noah Gulden was once again the most decorated member of the ASUN this postseason. After boasting a 4.0 GPA while studying for a Masters of Business Administration. He is Scholar Athlete of the Year for the third-consecutive year and earns a spot on the All-Academic team for the fourth-consecutive season. The graduate student is the Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in his career and is one of two unanimous selections to the ASUN First Team All-Conference. He lands a spot on the First Team All-Conference squad for the fifth-consecutive year, finding himself on the team every year of his career. The Drammen, Norway native played and started in every game for the Bisons, never coming off the pitch. He helped to anchor a back line that posted eight shutouts, the eighth most in the ASUN. The squad also had the 20th best shutout percentage in the country. Helping Lipscomb to be one of the strongest defenses in the league and the nation, Noah helped Lipscomb to hold opponents to just 11 goals on the season, also the best mark in the league. The defender was also a contributor offensively with a goal and eight assists, the best mark in the ASUN. Not only was he at the top of the ASUN, but he ranked top-20 in the nation in assists per game and 12th in the country in total assists at the end of the regular season. He broke the Lipscomb record for career assists with his third of the season, now holding the Lipscomb record with 25 total assists. 
 
JELLDRIK DALLMANN – PLAYER OF THE YEAR, FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE 
 
Dallmann was named the ASUN Player of the Year and was one of two unanimous selections to the ASUN First Team All-Conference after an impressive first year with Lipscomb. The forward played in 15 games for the Bisons and leads the ASUN with 11 goals which is good for seventh in the nation. The Senior had three game winners during the regular season, tied for the most on the Lipscomb squad and second in the ASUN, a mark that ranks 17th in the country. He also ranked eighth nationally in goals per game (.73) and 16th in the country in points per game (1.60) after adding a pair of assists on the season. Always a problem for defenders, he averaged over three shots per game and landed over half of his shots on frame. 
 
MICHAEL SIBLEY – GOALKEEPER OF THE YEAR, FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE
 
Sibley earns ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year honors for the first time in his career after an impressive senior campaign. He played and started every match between the pipes for Lipscomb, only coming off the pitch for two minutes this season. He played over 1,400 minutes, more than 300 more minutes than any other goalkeeper in the ASUN. The London, England native posted a goals against average of 0.69 with a 0.38 GAA in ASUN play. He was top of the ASUN in goals against average and was top-25 in the country in the category. With seven shutouts and one combined shutout, he had the most shutouts in the ASUN and the 19th most in the nation. He also ranked top-five in the ASUN in save percentage (.766), goals against (11) and saves (36). 
 
NICK DANG – FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR, ALL-FRESHMEN TEAM
 
Dang played and started in 14 matches for the Bisons with seven of those starts coming in ASUN play. The center back was solid all season, helping anchor a back line that posted eight shutouts, the most in the ASUN and had the 20th best shutout percentage in the nation. The freshman consistently won tackles and helped Lipscomb to be one of the strongest defenses in the league, allowing just 11 goals on the season, also the best mark in the ASUN.
 
MALACHI JONES – FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE, ALL-FRESHMEN TEAM
 
Jones played 14 matches on the season and found the back of the net six times on the season, a top-five mark in the ASUN and the third-most goals on the Lipscomb squad. He also used his speed and dished out three assists on the season to total 15 points, the sixth-most in the ASUN and third-most on the Lipscomb squad. He got off 42 shots on the season, the fourth-most in the conference, landing 17 of those on goal, the sixth-most in the conference. The Freetown, Sierra Leone native landed over 40 percent of his shots on goal, averaging 1.21 shots on goal per game. 
 
ALEJANDRO LOPEZ – FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE
 
Lopez played in 14 matches on the season with 10 starts in the midfield. He added two goals to Lipscomb's ASUN-leading offense this season. He had six assists with four coming in conference play and ranked second in the ASUN in the category. He had 10 points on the season, a top-five mark on the Lipscomb squad. 
 
HAYES WOOD – FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE
 
Wood played and started in every match for the Bisons and was the second-leading scorer on the squad with seven goals which also ranked second in the ASUN. He dished out a pair of assists for 16 points on the season, the fourth-most in the league. Always clutch, he had three of Lipscomb's game winners this season, tied for the most on the team and second-most in the ASUN. He landed 19 shots on goal for a .404 shot on goal percentage on the season, landing 1.13 shots on target a game. The Chattanooga, Tenn. Native earns First Team honors for the first time in his career to go along with a 2021 Second Team nod. 
 
TYRESE SPICER – SECOND TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE
 
Spicer played in 15 matches for Lipscomb and was always a threat on the wing. The Trincity, Trinidad & Tobago native dished out six assists, a top-five mark in the ASUN and second-most on the Lipscomb squad. He also notched three goals on the season for 12 points. He ranked top-five in the ASUN in shots and shots on goal, landing 20 of his shots on frame (.444%). He scored one game-winner for the Bisons. 
 
SCOTT GULDEN – ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM 
 
Scott Gulden lands a spot on the ASUN All-Academic squad for the second-consecutive season after boasting a 3.8 GPA while studying for a Masters of Business Administration. The Lipscomb team captain fought through injury all season, but was part of a defense that allowed just 11 goals on the season, a league-leading numbers and posted eight shutouts, the most in the ASUN.
 
LOUIS ROBINSON – ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
 
Robinson earns an All-Academic Team nod for the third-consecutive season with a 3.86 GPA while working on his BBA in Finance. He played and started in all but one game this season on a Lipscomb defense that allowed a league-low 11 goals and posted an ASUN-leading eight shutouts. He added four assists on the season for Lipscomb's league-leading offense.
