Ford Goldasich got off to a strong start with his opening 73 and followed with back-to-back rounds of 75 for a 223 and a tie for 64th. Austin Aliff also tied for 64th with rounds of 76-74-73.
Alejandro Rodriguez rounded out the scoring for the purple and gold with a 230 (81-75-74) to tie for 80th.
"Today was a better overall for the team," head coach Will Brewer said. "We are making adjustments and improvements each day. We witnessed improvements in our putting however, I need to take responsibility and do a better job and look at how we are developing the skills needed to produce consistently lower scores.
"I am proud of this team's effort and I am confident we will see more improvement this next 2-4 weeks."
