Stout leads women's golf on final day of Pinetree Collegiate

KENNESAW, Ga. – Lipscomb women's golf wrapped up play at the Pinetree Collegiate on Tuesday with a final round total of 317 to give the Bisons a 7th-place finish after totaling a two-day total of 926.
Siarra Stout paced the purple and gold in the final 18 with a 1-over, 73 to give her an event total of 225 (77-75-73) and a 12th-place finish overall. She carded three birdies on the day and was the only Bison to break 80 on Tuesday.
After leading the pack with a 1-over, 145 on day one, freshman Lauren Thompson struggled in the final round with a pair of triple bogeys. She carded an 81 to finish one stroke behind Stout in 16th overall with a 226.
Ally Williams finished in 31st (75-78-81) with a 234 to give Lipscomb three top-35 finishes.
Kaylee Wu, playing as an individual, placed 37th with a consistent week where she fired rounds of 79-79-78 for a 236.

Lipscomb will get one more tune-up before the ASUN Championship next month at Kinderlou. The Bisons will travel to Johns Creek, Georgia for the Georgia State Golf Spring Invitational on March 28-29.

- Lipscomb finished second in the field in par-3 scoring with a 3.13 average, just three strokes behind the leader Seminole State.
- The Bisons totaled 33 birdies in the three rounds, tying for the third-most in the field and just three behind Kennesaw State for the top spot.
- Williams was fourth overall in individual par-3 scoring with an even par average of 3.00. She also led the Bisons with an even par total on par-5 scoring.
- Thompson and Stout led the team with a 4.17 average on par 4s.
- Williams and Thompson led the Bisons and tied for fifth with nine birdies each. Stout led the team with 33 combined pars.
