SCORING SUMMARY
HOW IT HAPPENED

Lipscomb wasted little time getting on the board, with an early goal in the 4' minute. Mounting a promising attack from the back, the Bisons moved the ball through the midfield and Alonefti connected with Jones who was streaking up the right side. After dribbling to the goal line, he passed the ball back in front of goal where Spicer was waiting at the post to slot the ball past the keeper for a 1-0 advantage.

Lipscomb had another good look in the 18' minute when Tyler Stinnett rocketed a shot to force a UNF save.

The Bisons nearly broke through again in the 27' minute when Spicer beat a defender and crossed the ball to Jones on the right side. Jones put a shot that went just wide of frame, keeping the Lipscomb lead 1-0.

Spicer continued to give the Ospreys trouble and forced yet another save in the 30' minute with a left-footed shot around the top of the six-yard box.

Juan Carlos Rodriguez got in on the action in the 44' minute when he secured his first save of the night when he denied a shot after a corner kick, keeping the Bisons advantage.

Lipscomb defended for the final minute of the first frame and went into the halftime break with a 1-0 advantage.

Trying to get something going early in the second half, North Florida unleashed a shot from range that Rodriguez comfortably saved in the 47' minute, keeping Lipscomb ahead 1-0.

North Florida had another good look in the 50' minute, but the shot went just wide as the Bisons clung to its lead.

After handling pressure from UNF early in the second half, George Macready knocked on the door with a header in the 62' minute after corner kick service. His shot, however, sailed just wide of the far post.

North Florida equalized in the 74' minute when a shot from a wide angle banged off a Lipscomb defender and into the net for a 1-1 game.

The Bisons dug in and got the lead back in the 80' minute by the foot of Smith. A ball was sent into the box from the Lipscomb midfield where multiple gold jerseys were crashing the goal. Bryan, outside the six-yard box, headed a ball forward to Stinnett at the far post. His resulting cross bounced across the face of goal and Smith tapped the ball in for a 2-1 Bisons lead.

Lipscomb was able to defend the final 10 minutes to secure the road victory, remaining undefeated in ASUN play.
