Volleyball Welcomes Setter Sarah Nading

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Lipscomb volleyball head coach Brandon Rosenthal announced Thursday the addition of 5'10" setter Sarah Nading to the 2023 roster.

"I chose Lipscomb because walking around campus and meeting the team felt like home. There is an undeniable love for the sport that I felt from both the coaching staff and the players! I'm pumped to be a part of such an amazing team culture!"

Nading joins the Herd as a graduate transfer from FIU. As a setter, she recorded 790 assists, and 37 kills in 88 sets played with the Panthers.

Before her time with FIU, she played her freshman season at Abilene Christian University, where she played in 15 matches and totaled 253 assists, 20 blocks, and 18 kills on the year.

Nading prep at Dripping Springs High School in Austin, Texas, where she lettered in volleyball and basketball, was 2x District setter MVP, 2x All-Centrex, and First team all-state.

"We are very excited about the addition of Sarah," said Coach Rosenthal. "She's an experienced player that will bring a great amount of knowledge of the game with her."

"We are really impressed with who Sarah is and her desire to take her game and leadership to the next level. Her ability to connect with people is extremely special, and we believe the transition to LUV will be a quick one. Those innate abilities will be an asset to the development of our program."
