COLUMBIA, Mo. – Lipscomb Men's Golf rounded out its regular season slate on Tuesday at the Tiger Intercollegiate. The squad finished 10^th in a field of 14 teams, including two top-25 competitors.
 
The Bisons sat in 12^th after the first two rounds of competition at (+1), but heated up on the final day of competition and finished (-5) on the day, improving to a 10^th place finish at (-4). 
 
Ford Goldasich was the leading golfer for the Bisons finishing at (-8) over the three rounds of competition to tie for 12^th place in a field of 78 competitors. Goldasich was strong from the start with a 71 in the first round before carding a 68 over the next 18 holes to sit at (-4) after the first day of play. He was able to hold strong through the final round on Tuesday with a 69, finishing the competition at (-8). Goldasich finished second in the field in total birdies with 21 and added 24 pars over the two days. He was also one of the better golfers on par 5s, averaging 4.58 on those holes. 
 
Alejandro Rodriguez had a strong showing, finishing tied for 36^th at (-1). Rodriguez was consistent through the first two rounds, shooting a 73 in each to finish the first day at (+2). Rodriguez improved 15 positions over the final 18 holes after putting up a 69 in the final round of competition after birdies in three of the final nine holes. Rodriguez finished tied for second in the field with 37 total pars and added nine birdies. 
 
Jack Morris tied for 50^th in the field after posting a (+3) for the tournament. Morris started on fire with a 69 in the first round, but carded a 76 in the second round to sit at (+1) after the first day of competition. Morris shot a 74 in the final round to finish at (+3). Morris had 30 pars and 11 birdies over the three rounds. 
 
Austin Aliff and Will Holan rounded out Lipscomb's steam scoring in the tournament. Aliff shot a 76-73-72 for a (+5) while Holan sat at a 76-74-73 (+7). Aliff improved five spots over the final round to finish tied for 57^th while Holan jumped nine spots and tied for 59^th in the field. Aliff finished with 26 pars and 12 birdies while Holan contributed 28 and 11, respectively. 
 
Minas Manias competed as an individual and finished tied for 72^nd. He carded a 78-76-74 (+12) over the rounds and had Lipscomb's only eagle of the competition. 
 
All told, Lipscomb connected on 64 birdies and 145 pars on the course. The Bisons shot well on the par 4s, averaging 3.95 and finishing at (-7) on those holes.

"I was excited to see the men respond to a team discussion," said Brewer. "We played well today and for the most part kept the big numbers off the card. We continue to see we make enough birdies to compete! The challenge continues to eliminate the bogeys and higher scores that pop up during the round. We were two top-five team members short this week to unforeseen circumstances, but we hope to be healed up for the ASUN Conference Championships later this month." 
 
"Ford had a good performance shooting (-8) and finishing in the top 15! Alejandro Rodriguez played well finishing with a (-3) during the final round and Jack Morris started strong and really helped us during the first round. All in all, we are learning and growing as players!"
