HEAD COACH WILL BREWER
"Our season has seen some inconsistencies in scoring. When we are dialed in from 150 yards or closer, we were competitive with top 30-50 ranked teams. In the future, we must find ways to score more effectively and efficiently. It boiled down to pitching, chipping, putting and eliminating double bogeys. Our golf conference is consistently one of the top two mid-major conferences in the nation and this communicates we must continue to recruit players whose desire is to compete nationally and be committed to grow and become short game experts."
"We are so proud of this team! This team set the NCAA Division I single one round scoring record when counting four of five scores at 255 (-33), averaged a GPA of 3.75, won the UAB Invitational and
Ford Goldasich won his first collegiate event.
Jason Hong qualified for the Canadian PGA Tour!
Will Holan had an up and down season, but finished strong shooting (-10) and the ASUN Championships.
Gregor McKenzie finished with a 4.0 GPA and was accepted into the London School of Business and was awarded the Poest&Quants 2023 Best and Brightest Undergrad. Business Major. He also won the Dean's Award for top undergrad in the College of Business and received the Award of Academic Excellence in Finance. There are many awards and accomplishments and I'm so proud of the team's efforts and hard work!"
