2022-23:
  • Named to 2023 ASUN Second Team All-Conference
  • Competed in 33 rounds over 11 tournaments this season
  • Recorded an average score of 71.76, the second-lowest mark on the team
  • Put up a season-low score of 61 in the third round of the Allstate Streamsong Invitational
  • Finished third overall at the Carolina Collegiate Invitational with a 207 from round scores of 72-66-69
  • Twice finished tied for third this season, first at the Allstate Streamsong Invitational (71-69-61=201) and the again at the Graeme McDowell Invitational (73-73-74=220)

2021-22:
  • Competed in 36 rounds over 12 tournaments, one of two Bisons to do so
  • Collected a 73.44 scoring average, the third best scoring average on the team
  • Recorded seven rounds at or under 70, with a season low 67 in the second round of the Wolfpack Intercollegiate Invitational
  • Earned his best finish at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate Invitational when he tied for sixth with a 211 (68-67-76)
  • Posted his lowest three-round score of the season at the Irish Creek Invitational where his 209 (71-69-69) tied him for twelfth in the tournament
Prior to Lipscomb at Purdue:
2019-20
• Posted a 74.11 stroke average in 18 events.
• Recorded top-20 finishes at the Crooked Stick Invitational (T-13) and Desert Mountain Intercollegiate (T-17).
• Registered seven rounds of even-par or better, with two rounds coming in the 60s.
• Member of the Big Ten’s All-Academic Team.

2018-19
• Appeared in nine events, posting a 75.00 stroke average.
• Recorded a top-five finish at the Boilermaker Invitational (T-3) and a top-20 showing at the Chatham Hills Collegiate (T-12).
• Placed T-29 at the Big Ten Championship, shooting a final-round 68. 
• Also finished T-39th at the Intercollegiate at the Grove.
• Member of the Big Ten All-Academic Team.

2017-18
• Hong had an outstanding freshman campaign, appearing in all 12 events and 35 rounds played.
• Posted a 74.11 stroke average with 12 rounds of even or under par.
• Stroke average was the sixth-best average by a freshman in school history. 
• Recorded four top-20 and two top-10 finishes, including a sixth-place showing at the elite Puerto Rico Classic (-1).
• The performance in Puerto Rico earned him Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors. 
• Also finished T-8th at the Northern Intercollegiate, T-12th at Erin Hills and T-19th at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate.
• Led the team with a T-23rd showing at the NCAA Kissimmee Regional (-3). 
• Along with teammate Cole Bradley, became the first freshman in school history with two rounds of 70 or better in NCAA action.
• Led the team with six eagles.

HIGH SCHOOL
• One of the top amateurs in Australia, Hong brings impressive credentials to Purdue.
• Had an impressive stroke average of 69.88 as a senior at Sydney Boys High School.
• Captained NSW for the Australian Junior Interstate Series, won by his squad.
• Ranked as the No. 5-ranked junior in Australia.
• Finished tied for fourth at the NSW Amateur.
• In 2016, represented Australia in the IMG World Junior Championship and finished second in the Australian Junior Championship.
• Was the NSW Match Play Championship winner as a 15-year old.
• Finished second in the Aaron Baddeley International as a sophomore.
