JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Lipscomb men's track & field's Austin Remick was selected on Thursday to join Lipscomb women's track & field's Colbi Borland, Kiara Carter, Liza Corso, Bella Jackson, Aislinn McElhaney, and Lydia Miller to compete in the NCAA Track & Field East Preliminary rounds held in Jacksonville, Florida on May 24-27. Remick will represent Lipscomb in the men's 3,000m steeplechase.
 
Remick earns his first trip to the NCAA East Prelims as a member of the Bisons after transferring from the University of Michigan prior to the 2022-23 season. The junior earned a qualification after breaking the Lipscomb outdoor program record in the event by running a time of 8:50.06 at the Raleigh Relays on March 23.
 
The junior will race in the 3,000m steeplechase on Friday, May 26 at 4:40 p.m. CT. The qualifiers out of the East and West Regions will compete at the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on June 7-10 in Austin, Texas.
