NASHVILLE – Lipscomb traveled to UNF Arena in a competitive four-set match with North Florida to get back into the win column.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Both teams seemed evenly matched at the beginning of the match, staying neck-and-neck with one another with neither team going up more than three points.
Addi Pelham recorded her 200
th career block to record to put the Bisons up 6-4 in the set. Pelham is just the seventh Bison in history to reach this milestone.
The Ospreys were the first team to 15 and after the media timeout, North Florida went on a 10-5 run to close the set out.
The Ospreys took control of the second set early on, going up 12-5 against the Bisons. Lipscomb fought back, able to tie the set up at 14 a piece and force a North Florida timeout. The Ospreys were able to recollect themselves enough to take the lead and Lipscomb took a timeout at North Florida's set-point down 21-24.
Karlie McNabb came out of the timeout and recorded her eighth kill of the night, earning her 1000
th kill in her collegiate career. The Bisons earned a defensive point after McNabb's block to close the gap and force a North Florida timeout. After some back and forth and a long set, Lipscomb took their first set 27-25.
After winning their first set, Lipscomb was able to ride their momentum into the third. The Bisons were able to separate from the Ospreys up 8-4 before North Florida was able to start battling back.

Meg Mersman and McNabb worked together to block the same North Florida attacker two possessions in a row and force North Florida to take a timeout after the Bisons went up 11-6. The Bisons ended the set with an attack percentage of .458 to take the third 25-16.
North Florida opened the fourth set strong, but Lipscomb quickly managed to match their energy. UNF's 4-1 lead was short-lived before the Bisons closed the gap and tied everything up at 5-5.
The Bisons were the first to 15 and after the media timeout, Lipscomb took over. The Bisons went on a 10-1 run, only giving up a point to North Florida on a service error to win the fourth and final set 25-13.
