HOW IT HAPPENED
Kentucky scored the first basket of the game and Lipscomb responded on the other end when
Gyasi Powell connected on a midrange jumper. Kentucky, however, outscored the Bisons 11-2 over the next three minutes and Kentucky held a 13-4 advantage at the first media timeout.
After the second media timeout of the half, Lipscomb began to find a bit of a rhythm offensively when

Kentucky, however, responded with a couple triples in its next two possessions, getting back out to a 26-10 advantage as head coach

Lipscomb got a stop and had the ball for the final shot of the half, but Ognacevic's triple rimmed out and Lipscomb was at a 43-26 disadvantage at the break.
Out of the halftime break, the Bisons greatly improved its shooting, picking up to a 50-percent clip for the half, compared to its 26-percent in the first half. Kentucky held onto a 63-38 lead at the first media timeout of the second half.
Lipscomb continued to connect much better offensively, but struggled to stop the Wildcats. At the under-eight media timeout, Kentucky held an 83-48 advantage.
Kentucky saw out the final minutes of the game as Lipscomb fell 97-68.
