ONEONTA, Ala. – Lipscomb Men's Golf closed out the Graeme McDowell Invitational on Tuesday, grabbing a third-place finish. The Bisons finished (-28) overall with round scores of 280, 276, 280.
Minas Manias led the charge for the Bisons with a fifth-place finish in a field of 80 players. Manias started his tournament shooting a 70 in round one before improving with a 66 and 68 in the second and third rounds, respectively. All told, Manias finished with a (-12) on the event.
Another top-10 finish for the Bisons came from
Alejandro Rodriguez who is coming off his first collegiate tournament win last weekend. He continued to swing the club well, finishing at (-9) to finish in ninth place. He carded a 70, 66, 71 en route to his second-consecutive top-10 finish on the season.
Jaron Leasure was the final Bison to finish under par on the tournament. Leasure carded a 71, 73, 70 (-2) over the three-day event to finish in 25
th-place.
Jack Morris was the next finisher for Lipscomb in 36
th-place. Morris posted a score of (+1) with round scores of 69, 77, 71.
Lipscomb's squad was rounded out by
Sam Potter with a 47
th-place finish with scores of 77, 71, 72 (+4).
Toby Bishop competed as an individual in the tournament and boasted a 54
th-place finish. He scored a 72 in each of the first and third rounds and carded a 76 in the second round to finish (+6).

Lipscomb will head south for the West Bay Intercollegiate in Fort Myers, Fla on Oct. 5-6.
