MIAMISBURG, Ohio – The Lipscomb University men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 decision to the University of Dayton in a Saturday afternoon match from the South Regency Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Flyers got out to a quick start with wins at the 2- and 3-doubles of the lineup to get out to the 1-0 lead.
Dayton won five of six points in singles to cruise to the win over Lipscomb.
Juan Lombisano picked up a 6-1 win in the second set to force a third set tiebreak, but Alfons Ridstrom edged Lombisano 10-7 to win the No. 3 flight.
Oliver Thoeny went toe-to-toe with Sai Dore but lost at the No. 5 spot, 2-6, 5-7.
The Bisons picked up their lone win off the racquet of
Antoine Testaud. After dropping the opening frame 6-4, he rallied to shut out Brady Hussey 6-0 to force the deciding third set.
Going to a 10-point tiebreak to decide it, the senior (2-2) secured the point with a 10-6 triumph.

Lipscomb will return home for a weekend home stand. The Bisons will face off with the University of Southern Indiana at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31 from the Ensworth Tennis Center.
