JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sophia Hudepohl and
Kenzie Kucks picked up three of the four Atlantic Sun Conference weekly awards, announced by the league office on Monday.
Hudepohl earned Setter of the Week honors for the fourth time this season, while Kucks garnered Freshman and Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Totaling 85 assists, averaging 10.63 per set, and 13 digs, Hudepohl earned her fourth weekly honor this season and the 12th in her career.
Those numbers were good for tops in the ASUN last week, and her 85 assists were 34th-best in Division I.
In the five-set victory against Central Arkansas where the Bisons trailed 2-1, she totaled 53 assists to help the Bisons earn a berth into the ASUN Tournament for the 21st straight year.
Over the course of the two wins over North Alabama and UCA, the Cincinnati, Ohio native saw 44.5% of her assists lead to kills. Additionally, the team hit .269 on the weekend and led the league in kills (116).

Kucks registered 36 digs last week, the third-most in the league, but her 4.5 digs per set in eight played was good for second in the ASUN.
The Omaha, Nebraska native recorded a career-high 28 digs in the five-set win over the Sugar Bears, including nine in the final two sets to rally late.
Additionally, she was dominant on the receiving end on opposing serves. She finished with just two reception errors in 44 attempts last week, and more impressively, she was a perfect 28-for-28 against Central Arkansas.
The Bisons will wrap up the regular season this week with two matches. First, it will be the home finale with Austin Peay on Tuesday night before LUV travels to Charlotte, North Carolina to face Queens on Saturday.
