HOW IT HAPPENED

Elena Bertrand layup off a turnover.
Molly Heard got the Bisons back in it late in the quarter with back-to-back 3-pointers to cut what was an 11-point deficit to five with 2:47 left, but it was the Golden Eagles who took the 33-25 advantage into the locker room.
In the third quarter, after Tech coughed up the ball on its first possession thanks to a Bertrand steal, Miller knocked down a triple to make it a five-point game again. However, a 9-0 run by the Golden Eagles shifted the momentum back to the home bench.
Ahead 55-42 going into the final period, TTU used an 8-2 run to open the frame to put the game away.
