- Finished the season as the program’s freshman record holder for blocks (77) and ranked third in the program’s Division I history for blocks in a season; led the ASUN in total blocks and ranked 10th in Division I in the category.
- Her first collegiate game at Indiana (11/4) saw her record five blocks, and had five games with 5+ blocks on the year.
- Appeared in all 30 games as a freshman, totaling 190 points (6.3 per game) on 71-of-189 (37.6%) shooting, 15 connections from 3-point range and 33-of-43 at the line (76.7%)
- Added 163 rebounds, 54 assists and 31 steals.
- Averaged 7.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in 18 ASUN games
- Named ASUN Freshman of the Week twice (Dec. 8, 2025, and Jan. 5, 2026).
- Recorded a season-high 6 steals vs. Sewanee (11/6).
- Swatted a season-high 11 blocks vs. Tennessee State (12/7), becoming the first player in the program’s Division I era to record 10-plus blocks in a game; also grabbed a season-high 6 offensive rebounds.
- Added a unique double-double thanks to 10 rebounds against TSU and missed a near triple-double with nine points
- Matched season-high 10 rebounds vs. North Florida (1/31)
- Scored a season-high 19 points at North Alabama (2/21), going 8-for-13 from the field.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Member of four straight state championships for Providence Academy in Class AA, the first ever for a high school team in the State of Minnesota
- Nominated for McDonalds All-American Game
- First Team All-State selection
- 1,000 career points and rebounds
- Finished her career with a career-high 23 points and added 15 rebounds in the state championship game her senior year
- Along with four basketball varsity letters, she also earned two with volleyball and one on track
PERSONAL
- Daughter of Lisa and Chris Counts
- Four sisters, Clara, Anna, Maria and Vink, and two brothers, Isaiah and Samuel
- Grandfather, Mel Counts, played college basketball at Oregon State (1961-64) and was a two All-American with the Beavers. He was inducted into the inaugural class of the Oregon State Athletics Hall of Fame in 1988
- He was drafted as the seventh overall pick by the Boston Celtics in the 1964 NBA Draft. He played 12 seasons in the NBA with the Celtics, the Baltimore Bullets, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers and Utah Jazz.
- Won two NBA Championships with the Celtics in 1965 and 1966 and won gold as a member of the 1964 United States Men’s Basketball Olympic Team
- Sister Anna played college basketball at Minot State University (N.D.) (NCAA Division II) (2019-22)
- Sister Maria played college basketball at the University of Minnesota at Duluth (2024-26) (NCAA Division II) before playing one year at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis (2023)
- Plans to major in Marketing at Lipscomb
- Chose Lipscomb because of the authenticity of the coaches and players showed her the place she wants to learn and grow for the next four years. The opportunity to play basketball at a high level, while growing on my faith was a lottery find for her
