NASHVILLE – The Lipscomb University Women's Tennis team has revealed the spring portion of the 2025-26 schedule, announced by head coach Jamie Aid.

Twenty matches are listed on the schedule, with 11 being played at home between the Ensworth Tennis Center and the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center. 

"I think we have an exciting schedule this year! We have a heavy home schedule, which is nice to be able to play at our facilities in front of our supporters," said Aid. 

"We are really looking forward to tackling one match at a time. We have a lot of quality matches each weekend for us to peak for the ASUN Tournament."

Lipscomb will get the 2026 schedule started with an in-city showdown with Tennessee State on Friday, Jan. 16 at the Ensworth Tennis Center. 

The home stand concludes with contests against UAB on Sunday, Jan. 25 and Illinois State on Jan. 28. 

February will see the Bisons play away from home for the majority of the month. The trip starts with a visit to nearby Murfreesboro to face Middle Tennessee State on Feb. 1. 

After a quick trip to Bowling Green to face Western Kentucky on Feb. 6, the Bisons will make a quick pit stop at home to face Murray State the following day, Feb. 7. 

Valentine's weekend will see Lipscomb head east to Johnson City to face East Tennessee State on Feb. 14. 

Lipscomb will next play at Vanderbilt on Feb. 20 before taking on Xavier in a neutral-site contest from West End on Feb. 21. 

After a quick trip to Samford the following day on March 1, the Bisons will return to the Music City for their outdoor home opener on March 4 vs. Arkansas State from the Hurston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center. The home stand concludes with Florida Gulf Coast on March 7. 

During spring break, Lipscomb will make the trek to Jacksonville to play North Florida on March 10 and Appalachian State on March 13. 

After that, the Bisons will not leave Nashville for the rest of the regular season, spanning six matches. Following the two-mile trek to Belmont on March 15, Lipscomb's final five matches will occur at the Hurston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center. 

During the stretch, they will host Kennesaw State (March 22), North Alabama (April 3), Austin Peay (April 7), Bellarmine (April 10) and Eastern Kentucky (April 11).

The 2026 Atlantic Sun Conference Championships will be held on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. The tournament will run from April 14-18. 

For the 2026 season, there will not be a conference schedule, despite Lipscomb having six matches against current ASUN schools. Seeding will be determined based on a committee determined by the conference office.

All nine teams will take place in the championship. Teams that sponsor women's tennis include Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Eastern Kentucky, Florida Gulf Coast, Lipscomb, North Alabama, North Florida, Queens and Stetson.
