HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Lipscomb University men's tennis team made quick work of Alabama A&M University, blanking the Bulldogs 7-0, Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bisons took care of the doubles point with wins at the top two flights.
Facundo Perlov and
Juan Lombisano clinched the team point for the Bisons with a 6-4 win at the top flight.
In singles,
Giovanni Ciocca (6-0, 6-2),
Antoine Testaud (6-2, 6-1) and Lombisano helped settled the match for the visitors, as they all won in straight sets.
On court four, Lombisano was the one that secured it with a 6-3, 6-2 victory.
Filippo Verdese rallied to win the first set at the sixth flight, 7-6 (6) and used that to win the point, 6-2.
Oskar Szymczak was in a battle with Kai Cowcher at the top flight, as the players split the first two sets, with both going to tiebreaks. With the match already decided, the point would be determined in a 10-point tiebreak. Matching the intensity from the first two frames, the Lipscomb freshman came out on top with a 12-10 result to finish off the sweep of the Bulldogs.
UP NEXT
Lipscomb's next scheduled match with Radford on Saturday will not play as scheduled. So, the Bisons will next take on East Tennessee State next Sunday from Johnson City.
