INDIANAPOLIS – The Lipscomb University men's tennis team rallied from a slow start to get back even with IU Indianapolis, but it was the Jags who stole the win from the Bisons, 4-3, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was a slow start for the Bisons, as they were unable to clinch the doubles point from the Jags. IU Indy posted identical 6-3 scores to get out to the 1-0 lead.
Lipscomb got wins out of the top three spots of their lineup.
Oskar Szymczak (4-3) prevailed from a 5-7 loss in the first set to win the next two, 6-4, 7-6 (9), at the top flight.
Giovanni Ciocca (4-3) used a straight-set win over Steven Paz, 6-3, 7-5, to take the No. 2 point.
Facundo Perlov (4-2) won his second straight contest with a 6-2, 6-3 result over Pumiphat Sukkho.
However, the bottom of IU Indy's lineup proved to be decision of the afternoon, as Will Thurin won the No. 5 flight and Vincent Nauta used a crucial 11-9 tiebreak in the second set to take the No. 6. Point.
