VALDOSTA, Ga. – Lipscomb Men's Golf finished its 2024-25 campaign on Thursday, finishing seventh in the ASUN Championship. The Bisons shot 285, 283, 285 (-11) to finish in seventh place out of 12 teams.
Jaron Leasure finished at the top of the Bisons with a fourth place finish. He tied with two other athletes for fourth. After a slower start to his tournament in the first round, he posted a 68 in each of the final two rounds to finish at 209 (-7). His 68 in round three saw his climb 23 spots up the leaderboard. All told, he connected on 13 birdies and one eagle during his three rounds.
Lipscomb's next finisher was
Minas Manias who tied for 13
th. He placed Lipscomb for the first two rounds of the tournament and shot a 73 (+1) in the final round. All told, he scored a 212 (-4) on the event. He connected on 10 birdies and one eagle over his three rounds.
Alejandro Rodriguez used a solid third round to move seven spots up the leaderboard to finish tied for 31
st with a 216 (E). Rodriguez improved a stroke each day, putting in his best round, a 71 (-1) on Thursday with the help of four birdies. All told, he had 13 birdies on the tournament.
Sam Potter finished just behind Rodriguez, tying for 35
th with a 217 (+1). In his final round of play, he recorded a 73 (+1) after going an even 72 the first two rounds. He had 11 birdies over the three rounds.
Jack Morris rounded things out for the Bisons, tying for 42
nd. He had a combined score of 219 (+3). He scored a 74 (+4) in his final round and finished the tournament with eight total birdies.
