NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Softball landed three on All-ASUN teams the league announced on Wednesday. The Bisons were headlined by
Alyssa Hastings who earned her first career First Team All-ASUN nod.
Ella Polk and
Mallory Ogle also earned spots on the All-Freshman Team.
ALYSSA HASTINGS – FIRST TEAM ALL-ASUN
- Started and played in all 55 games for the Bisons at shortstop
- Batted .413 on the season and .468 in ASUN play
- Set a Lipscomb program record for single season doubles with 23 this season which is a mark that leads the nation
- Ranks fourth in the nation with 0.42 doubles per game
- Ranks fifth in the nation with 138 assists on the season
- Ranked top-10 in the ASUN during the regular season in 10 different statistical categories

- Had 21 multi-hit games this season and recorded a hit in 31 of the last 32 games
- Served as team captain as a sophomore
MALLORY OGLE – ALL-FRESHMAN TEAM
- Played in 53 games with 51 starts as a freshman, playing in both center field and right field
- Hit at a .211 clip overall on the season, but improved to a .245 in ASUN play
- Connected on 28 hits, 17 runs and 13 RBI on the season including five extra-base knocks
- Was a perfect 5-5 in stolen bases on the season
- Had a good eye at the plate, drawing 29 walks
- Defensively, added 70 putouts and three assists
ELLA POLK – ALL-FRESHMAN TEAM
- Played in 37 games for the Bisons with 30 starts in the infield
- Hit at a .163 clip overall, but improved her average to .212 in ASUN play
- Recorded 15 hits on the season with eight extra-base hits
- Slugged an impressive .424 in conference play
- Defensively, added 124 putouts on the season with 15 added assists
The squad finished the season 25-30 overall with an 11-13 record in ASUN play.
