Final Score: Austin Peay 14, Lipscomb 10

HOW IT HAPPENED
After two scoreless innings, Austin Peay tacked on five runs in the third thanks to two errors.

In the fourth, the Bisons mounted a strong comeback, scoring eight runs in the frame, the most in an inning this season. Jake Berg started the scoring for Lipscomb with his sixth home run of the season.

After a Casey Sunseri base hit, a triple by Collin Goda made it a 5-3 deficit for the Bisons. The line kept moving to Aaron Stelogeannis, as he laced a single to center field to score Goda.

Following a Stelogeannis stolen base and a free pass by Brady Miller, Parks Bouck's RBI single made it a 5-5 game, erasing a 5-0 deficit.

The runs kept coming, as David Coppedge and Kai Holm both produced RBI plays.

In that fourth inning, 12 batters came to the plate and eight runs scored on eight hits.

However, that did not phase the Governors. After a 1-2-3- fifth inning, APSU scored five more in the sixth and four in the seventh to swell the lead to 14-9.

Lipscomb did add on runs in the sixth and ninth to cut the deficit closer.

KEY STATISTICS
All nine batters reached base for the Bisons, with eight of them contributing a hit. Aaron Stelogeannis and Damion Kenealy each posted three hits and an RBI.
