LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Lipscomb University volleyball program was recognized on the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT.
Earning the award for the 16th time in program history, the accolade is given to teams who achieve a 3.3 team grade point average for the 2024-25 academic year.
After earning the award for the first time in 2004, the Bisons have earned the honor in 15 of the last 16 years (since 2010) and have been listed for the 12th consecutive year.
With a fall GPA of 3.67 and a spring GPA of 3.52, the program was also recognized on the AVCA Honor Roll, recognizing the top 20% of GPAs in Division I.
Achieving this Honor Roll accolade for the third time in the last four years, the Bisons were one of 47 NCAA Division I schools that were named to the Honor Roll in 2025.
The Bisons saw academic success last season. Meg Mersman was listed to the Academic All-ASUN Team, while Mersman, Addi Pelham, Libby Steinhart and Sophia Hudepohl earned Academic All-District ® honors by College Sports Communicators.
