Ethan Duncan Named ASUN Newcomer of the Week

NASHVILLE – Lipscomb Men's Basketball's Ethan Duncan was named the ASUN Newcomer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.Â

Duncan earns the honor for the first time in his career, and it marks the third Newcomer of the Week award for the Bisons this season.Â

Duncan averaged 20.5 points per game in wins over Bellarmine and Austin Peay to lead Lipscomb to a 2-0 week, improving to 5-1 in ASUN play. Over the two games, Duncan shot 56.3% from the floor and an impressive 58.8% from the three-point line. The guard made 10 triples, including an eight-triple first half against Bellarmine. The senior also averaged 4.5 rebounds per game, added one assist, and one block.Â

Lipscomb will be back in action on Thursday, Jan. 22, as it welcomes Stetson at 7 p.m. CT in Allen Arena.Â
