NASHVILLE – Winning seems to be in the Lipscomb University Women's Tennis vocabulary down the stretch, as the program earned its sixth straight victory with a 4-0 shutout of Bellarmine University on Thursday afternoon from the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bisons earned the doubles point with a 6-1 win by
Martina Bovio and
Kameliia Tytarenko (7-4) on court three,
Deborah Dominguez Collado and
Sofiia Paladi (17-3) earned the clinch at the No. 2 flight, 6-3.
In singles, Bovio (13-15) made it a 2-0 Lipscomb lead with a 6-1, 6-3 rout of Gracie Hurley at the No. 5 position.
Paladi (15-11) put Lipscomb closer to a singles clinch with a 6-0, 7-5 victory over Vendula Kryslova at the top flight.
Right next to her,
Mariia Dolzhenko earned her 20th win of the season, defeating Reese Parker, 6-3, 6-4, to secure the match.
HERD NOTES
Thursday's win over Bellarmine puts Lipscomb now at 7-0 all-time in the series, dating back to 2021.
Lipscomb has won six straight matches for the fourth time in program history since 2005-06. Along with 2019 and 2026, the Bisons book ended regular season six-match streaks at the beginning and end of the 2024 season.
The Bisons will look to tie the Division I era record of seven, set during the 2016 season, on Friday.

The regular season finale will occur Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the Bisons taking on the Colonels of Eastern Kentucky University.
