NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Lipscomb University (2-1-0) lost a close match against the University of Miami (FL) (3-1-0) with a final score of 1-0 on Sunday at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex. Despite the defeat, the Bisons goalkeepers made seven saves, showcasing a strong defensive effort throughout the game.
First Half
- Miami's Kambryl Armstrong narrowly missed the target with a shot off the top woodwork at 8:09, followed by Sara Groseibl's attempt going wide right just moments later.
- Lipscomb's first significant opportunity came at 11:26 when Tatum Ahlemeyer's header was saved by the Miami defense.
- At 31:20, Miami's Moira Flynn tested Lipscomb's Sunnie Woodard, who made a crucial save to deny a top-center shot.
