Bisons Compete at John McNichols Invitational

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Lipscomb cross country continued its 2026 season at the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana, with the men finishing 27th out of 34 teams and the women placing 24th out of 28 teams.
The Lipscomb women opened the day in the 6K, led by Ella Johnson, who crossed the line in 22:02.4 to finish 109th overall.
Molly Farrell followed in 133rd with a time of 22:18.5, while Leonie Saurer was the third Bison across the line, placing 167th in 22:45.6.
Mallory Bigelow finished 192nd with a time of 23:23.5, followed closely by Brinkley Cooper in 196th at 23:27.1. Charli Keely crossed the line in 23:36.7 to finish 212th, Carly Miller placed 220th in 24:06.0 and Bethany Wright rounded out the Lipscomb contingent in 223rd at 24:17.5.
The Bisons finished 24th in the 28-team women's field.
On the men's side, Owen Horevay paced Lipscomb through the 8K course, finishing 90th overall with a time of 24:56.2.
Landon Jonas was the second Bison across the line, placing 164th in 25:48.4, followed by Sam Loftin in 177th with a time of 26:03.9. Brennan Kaplan finished 204th in 26:42.8.
Michael Polizzi placed 247th with a time of 28:06.1, Noah Wasserman followed in 250th at 28:17.7 and Gavin Bacus rounded out the Lipscomb lineup in 257th with a time of 29:09.5.
Lipscomb finished 27th among the 34 teams competing in the men's race.
